The Sandbrook Centre

It is planned that the Richard Sandbrook Trust (RST) will seek to undertake some of its activities at the Eden Project’s proposed new meeting house/convening centre complex, which will be located in some redeveloped farm properties on the edge of the Eden site. A central part of this development will be a meeting space providing an inspiring setting to convene the world’s leading thinkers to advance solutions to some of the most pressing environmental, social and economic challenges of the 21st Century. The raison d’être of the Centre is to reflect Richard's remarkable gift of bringing people together who normally do not talk to each other and are then surprised to find common ground.

The redevelopment will also be home to a number of offices for partners and incubation units for businesses promoting sympathetic services and technologies to Eden’s mission, much influenced by Richard’s thinking. Eden is currently investigating the financing options for this development.
